NASHVILLE, TN — Bill Hagerty, candidate for U.S. Senate, released the following statement on the Supreme Court of the United States’ rulings for religious freedom today:

“Today’s rulings are major victories for our religious freedom, and I applaud the Supreme Court for making the right decisions today,” said Bill Hagerty. “As a pro-life Christian conservative, I proudly stand with religious groups like the Little Sisters of the Poor and President Trump, who worked to repeal this burdensome government mandate. No one should be forced to go against their values to follow an unconstitutional directive. If Joe Biden and the Democrats were to regain control, they would confirm justices who will get it wrong every time. We must re-elect President Trump this fall. In the Senate, I’ll work with him to protect our religious freedoms and confirm constitutionalist judges who won’t legislate from the bench.”

Hagerty earned President Trump’s “complete and total” endorsement on multiple occasions to be Tennessee’s next United States Senator while serving as the U.S. Ambassador to Japan. To learn more about Bill Hagerty, visit www.teamhagerty.com.
