Coalition Includes Over 30 Law Enforcement Officers Across Tennessee

Nashville, TN — Following his statement pledging his continued support and commitment to our law enforcement officers, Bill Hagerty today announced the Law Enforcement For Hagerty coalition, which includes over 30 members of Tennessee law enforcement who fully support Team Hagerty.

“I am honored to have these distinguished law enforcement officers on Team Hagerty, who sacrifice and risk their lives every single day to keep our communities safe,” said Bill Hagerty. “Our law enforcement officers are the only thing standing between anarchy and your family’s safety, and Democrats’ latest call to defund and dismantle the police is radical and will only promote lawlessness. In the Senate, I will continue to support our law enforcement officers and ensure they have the resources they need to uphold the rule of law and to keep our communities safe – including stopping domestic terrorist groups like ANTIFA that have ushered in violence and crime amidst peaceful protests.”

“Bill Hagerty has been a great friend and supporter of mine, and I am proud to return the support,” said Putnam County Sheriff Eddie Farris. “We need another U.S. Senator who understands the commitment of our law enforcement and will work to support and strengthen them. Bill’s dedication to our men and women in blue is unmatched, and I am confident he will continue the fight in Washington alongside Senator Marsha Blackburn to ensure our Tennessee officers are provided with the tools and resources necessary to do their jobs.”

“I am proud to stand with my good friend Bill Hagerty for the U.S. Senate because I know he stands behind law enforcement officers 100 percent,” said Anderson County Sheriff Russell Barker. “Bill knows we should not defund and dismantle our law enforcement, and I know he will have our backs.”

“No one will fight harder for our law enforcement officers in the U.S. Senate than Bill Hagerty, and he will work alongside President Trump to ensure the continued safety of Tennessee families. That is why I am on Team Hagerty,” said Morgan County Sheriff Wayne Potter.

Hagerty earned President Trump’s “complete and total” endorsement to be Tennessee’s next United States Senator while serving as the U.S. Ambassador to Japan. To learn more about Bill Hagerty, visit  www.teamhagerty.com.
