Nashville, TN — On the heels of receiving an endorsement from the National Federation of Independent Businesses, Bill Hagerty, Republican nominee for U.S. Senate and former Commissioner of the Department of Economic and Community Development in Tennessee, announced the support of over 250 business leaders across the state.

“I’m proud and honored to have the support of over 250 business leaders across Tennessee,” said Bill Hagerty. “As a businessman and the state’s former chief economic leader, I understand what it takes to start a business and create a friendly business environment in Tennessee. In the Senate, I’ll work to help our businesses grow so we can create more jobs, strengthen our economy and ensure Tennessee remains an economic leader.”

“Like me, Bill understands the challenges of starting and growing a business, and he knows the last thing small businesses need is more government interference,” said Representative John Rose. “He’ll work to cut taxes and eliminate costly regulations so more businesses can grow and create good-paying jobs. He’s the business-minded leader we need in the Senate.”

“As a small business owner, it is important to me that we send a conservative businessman to Washington, who understands what it takes to grow the economy and protect our small businesses,” said Clark Shaw. “In the U.S. Senate, Bill Hagerty will continue to work with President Trump to ensure Tennessee’s small businesses have the necessary tools they need to be successful, and that is why I support him 100 percent.”

“Bill Hagerty is the right person to send to the U.S. Senate. Bill is a businessman who knows what it means to sign the front of a paycheck – not just the back of one. I know he will work to cut taxes and burdensome regulations to help them thrive once again. Bill is committed to our small businesses, and I am proud to stand with him for the U.S. Senate,” said Kirk Huddleston.
