In four days, U.S. Senate hopeful Bill Hagerty secured his party’s nomination for the Nov. 3 election, reunited with his fellow GOP supporters talked state issues with Gov. Bill Lee and had a phone conversation with President Donald Trump.

Hagerty said on Monday morning that he and the President, who was very congratulatory on his win, talked post win about challenges they believe are currently facing the Nation. One of those similar concerns between President Trump and the former diplomat is the need for the economy to make a quick rebound from the effects of the pandemic.
