Trump-Endorsed Bill Hagerty Releases Agriculture Plan Detailing Support For Tennessee Farmers
Nashville, TN —The first in a series of policy plans that will be announced, Bill Hagerty, President Trump-endorsed candidate for U.S. Senate, today released his agriculture plan to support our Tennessee farmers. Tennessee is home to 77,000 farmers, and agriculture contributes nearly $75 billion to Tennessee’s economy each year.
“I learned the value of hard work at a young age,” said Bill Hagerty. “I raised pigs and cattle and served as my FFA president. Unlike the radical Democrats running for president, I understand the challenges Tennessee farmers face, and I appreciate what they do every day.”
In his plan, Hagerty notes that he will:
- Support President Trump’s efforts to secure fair and reciprocal access to global markets
- Push for advantageous deals like the Japan trade deal
- Eliminate senseless EPA regulations
- Pass a farm bill for farmers
- Improve our infrastructure
- Cut taxes and make those cuts permanent
