Coalition Includes Over 100 Members Of Law Enforcement Community Across Tennessee

Nashville, TN — Today, Bill Hagerty announced he has earned the support of over 100 members of the law enforcement community across Tennessee, which highlights their strong commitment to working together to continue protecting Tennessee families.

“I’m proud and honored to have the support of over 100 members of our law enforcement community in Tennessee,” said Bill Hagerty. “Across the country, we are seeing violence and anarchy in several Democrat-run cities, as many leaders call to defund and dismantle police departments. It is unacceptable. My thoughts and prayers are with our men and women along with their families who stand on the thin blue line. They put their lives on the line every day to answer the call to protect and serve our communities, and I stand with them 120 percent.”

“Bill Hagerty has been a great friend and supporter of mine, and I am proud to return the support,” said Putnam County Sheriff Eddie Farris. “We need another U.S. Senator who understands the commitment of our law enforcement and will work to support and strengthen them. Bill’s dedication to our men and women in blue is unmatched, and I am confident he will continue the fight in Washington alongside Senator Marsha Blackburn to ensure our Tennessee officers are provided with the tools and resources necessary to do their jobs.”

“I am proud to stand with my good friend Bill Hagerty for the U.S. Senate because I know he stands behind law enforcement officers 100 percent,” said Anderson County Sheriff Russell Barker. “Bill knows we should not defund and dismantle our law enforcement, and I know he will have our backs.”

“No one will fight harder for our law enforcement officers in the U.S. Senate than Bill Hagerty, and he will work alongside President Trump to ensure the continued safety of Tennessee families. That is why I am on Team Hagerty,” said Morgan County Sheriff Wayne Potter.

Bill Hagerty is the Republican nominee for Senate in Tennessee. Hagerty earned President Trump’s “complete and total” endorsement on multiple occasions to be Tennessee’s next United States Senator after serving as the U.S. Ambassador to Japan.
